TAHOE

Tahoe is a perfect example of the incredible resilience of dogs.

He was turned into the shelter at just under 8 weeks old and sat in a kennel, alone for 4.5 months, overlooked by potential adopters for no reason other than the over abundance of animals in our shelter systems.

Well, it's our gain because Tahoe is an awesome dog. He is full of a zest for life, adventure and he's got a whole lot of love to give. He is a goof ball who will keep you laughing with his hilarious antics and fearless attitude.

Tahoe would make for an incredible family dog - he is up for anything, has never met a stranger, and loves playing with kids. He is still a teenage puppy so his adopter should expect some puppy shenanigans! He is very treat motivated so he is a quick study.

He is great with dogs and would do well with another playmate! However, he would also be just fine as a solo dog, as long as his family is up for a lot of adventure. Do you love water? So does Tahoe! This guy would love to go with you on your water trips - lakes, streams, rivers, pools. Doesn’t matter - Tahoe is down to splash with you!

He is great in social settings - super friendly with other people, dogs and kids.

Tahoe spent 1 week at our trainer's for a basic obedience board and train and he was PERFECT. Here's what the trainer had to say about him: "If you were to paint a picture of a perfect puppy, it would be Tahoe! If you continue with his structure, routine, and training, he will grow into the most elite adult dog."
