TALLULAH
Tallulah is an adorable pup with a tiny body and big floppy ears. She's a super friendly girl who is ready to play with everyone and everything.
She is a medium to high energy puppy (typical for her age - 5 months old) who needs daily walks and playtime with people and/or dogs. She loves to interact with those around her - not an independent player quite yet.
As a 5 month old, she likes to explore the world with her mouth. She currently likes to chew on everything, including people. She can be re-directed but she is still so young and working on learning appropriate behavior.
She is very curious and friendly with other dogs - she is learning to pick up on cues. She is also great with cats - she loves to play with them. Dog savvy cats only for this girl since she sees no difference between cats and dogs when it comes to play time!
Tallulah is not yet house trained but she understands that she is supposed to go outside. When she makes mistakes in the house it has been on a puppy pad.
She has not exhibited any fears or separation anxiety. She is great in her crate when she is home alone. But she's a girl with FOMO so if stuff is going on inside the house and she's not part of the action, she will let you know that she's unhappy by using her big girl voice.
She is great on a leash: walks eagerly in a straight line but will stop to look at and/ or try to meet other people or dogs that you may pass
At night Tallulah likes to be by her people, curling up tightly next to you and sometimes getting under the covers. She sleeps through the night and seems annoyed if asked to get up with less than 8 hours of sleep.
Tallulah is calm in the car but has gotten car sick during her rides. She may grow out of this but we can never be sure!
Tallulah would be best in a home that can give her interactive playtime and dedicate time to training. She would be great as a solo dog or with some canine friends!
She would make for a great family dog! However, due to her mouthiness, we recommend kids 10+. We will only make an exception to this if a family is incredibly dog savvy/experienced and knows how to create boundaries for both kids and dogs.
