TIPPY

Tippy is a sweet, playful lab mix with a big heart and a joyful spirit.

Tippy was picked up by animal control with a group of other dogs that we suspect were her family members. Our rescue helped her mom and brother, while another rescue helped her dad. The whole family is SO lovely. Wonderful dogs who will thrive in loving families with other pups .

Tippy is approximately 7 months old, 28lbs, with a medium-to-high energy level and absolutely loves playing with other dogs and her toys. She’s friendly, affectionate, and full of kisses, but can be a little shy at first—once she warms up, she’s quick to latch onto her person and become a loyal little shadow.

While, Tippy does well with other dogs, she is still learning polite play boundaries, so another pup who loves to play and doesn't mind a little sister would be best. She would thrive in a home with another dog to help her burn off energy and build confidence.

She’s crate trained and settles quickly after a few minutes of protest when left alone. Loud noises and car rides can be scary for her right now, but with patience and positive reinforcement, she’s already showing she can adjust to new environments.

She’s still working on house training and may have occasional potty accidents, so her future family should be ready to continue training and provide structure. Tippy would do best in a home where someone is excited to help her grow, build confidence, and enjoy lots of playtime, cuddles, and kisses.

*Please note, Tippy is currently fostered in Houston, TX, where our rescue is based. We work with trusted transport partners to transport our dogs to their forever homes in the Northeast, Midwest, and PNW (including CO and UT). Once an adoption is confirmed, we will work with the adopter's schedule and transport schedule to get your pup to you!
